Why is propylene glycol free minoxidil also important?
Propylene glycol can cause severe scalp itching and skin shedding from the scalp. Alcohol can cause erythema (redness) and contact dermatitis. These two are very different and often confused with one another.

I have been using minoxidil plus for 11 months and recently re-introduced minoxidil foam about a week ago because I thought the propylene-free solution was feeling greasy, only to find they are very similar. Minoxidil plus has caffeine and saw palmetto and is cheaper than minoxidil foam. The delivery time is also impeccable, not to mention it is also air travel friendly with carry on. I believe you guys have a great product.

I don't find minoxidil plus to be more greasy than minoxidil foam tbh and it is far cheaper than the foam as well as being alcohol free. I add 1ml minoxidil plus to the cartridge and use this micro needling device to apply the minoxidil into the scalp. I use the lower setting about 0.5mm. I find doing it this way saves a lot of time (its micro needling and application all in one).

The serum feels light and does run down the scalp if you apply the full dropper in one go. When I divide my application into 4x smaller 0.25ml units it doesn't run. I have a number 2 shave all over because my hair was thinning so much but the shedding has improved a lot so I am hoping this will continue to work. I like the minoxidil, caffeine and saw palmetto mix, definitely much better than the peptide stuff on the market.

It works but you need to be consistent. I was using it inconsistently for a few weeks, missing a few days here and there, and noticed my hair starting to shed again. It's annoying but apparently this is normal with hair loss products.

Apply 1ml to the affected areas on the scalp twice daily. Massage well into the scalp for 2-5mins. Wash hands after use.

You may see increased hair shedding when you first start using Minoxidil. This is normal. The reason you see an increase in hair shedding in the first two months is because the hair follicles are already entering the shedding phase (also known as the catagen phase).
